Awesome Find- Become a Fabric Designer!

Spoonflower.com prints fabric from your own designs! You upload a pattern or drawing and order yards of your own fabric. They offer an option to keep your design private, or make it public for sale on the website. You can also browse the available designs to order. There are some really cute prints on there (and some darn ugly ones, too)!

Here are some of my faves:

And then there are these. Awesome:

Cute craft idea: have your child draw a picture and upload it. Now you can buy the fabric and make pillows, curtains, quilts, or just stretch it around a canvas and hang it as art. Wouldn’t the grandma just LUUUV an apron with her own designer fabric? It’s much better than iron-ons, fer sher! Oh, wow- the possibilities! You could cover a photo album or make Christmas stockings! You can make a mini-me doll for your little chickadee: remember those yards of fabrics that had a front and back design on them and you cut out the two pieces and sew them together?

This is definitely an awesome find. Personalized cuteness. Plus, they use natural fabrics and the printing is eco-friendly. I've got to get in on this! Check it out!

Free Clothes, it Can't Be!

I bought a cute top just like this one (mine is in gold) several months ago at Macy’s and it had a tag on it about an online giveaway, so I checked it out. It’s true! Cable & Gauge chooses one winner at random each week to receive a free blouse. All you have to do is click on the link below, enter your email and vote for your favorite piece from their current collection. And, after looking at the rules, it looks like you can enter once each day! So, add this to your morning ritual, you never know! You can't win if you don't play!

Good luck!
P.S. I love the top because it's machine washable and comes out of the dryer ready to wear. Plus, the fabric is super soft. I think I deserve a free top now.
